“Shangguang New Energy Materials Joint Research Center” officially unveiled on October 19th, the “Shangguang New Energy Materials Joint Research Center” jointly sponsored by SUNMAN energy and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was unveiled in Jiading, Shanghai.
Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (SIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) was established in 1964. It is the earliest institute in China specializing in laser science and technology.
As a comprehensive high-tech modern optics and laser institute, SIOM mainly focuses on the frontiers of modern optical and laser science, the development of large-scale laser engineering and technology and laser and optoelectronic applications.
SUNMAN lightweight solar successfully replaced the most bulky, rigid glass in photovoltaic modules through material research and development, process innovation and equipment development. This polymer composite module called eArche has a weight of only 20% of traditional modules and a thickness less than 2mm, and has good flexibility.
Thanks to the new product characteristics, in addition to traditional application, it can be compounded with existing building materials to open this billion-scale integrated photovoltaic building market in solar panels for commercial buildings and residential solar systems.
